47 mm is just too BIG!

Well, maybe not. I couldn't believe it when my AD took me over to take a peek at the 47 MM 305. I told him 47 mm would be too big for my wrist and that I just wouldn't be interested. But when I slipped it on; it was all over but the cryin'!

Cool exhibition back:

BEAST of a buckle:

Very cool rubber strap:

Handsome face w/o the cyclops and retro rotating bezel:

And, yes, it does wear a little big on a 7 1/2" wrist:

Of course, plenty of lume:

All in all, a pretty great hefty piece of watch!

It's perfect!!!!!!! Look at the G Shocks that most guys are wearing as their beaters, they are like 50mm, some bigger. The 305 is one amazing watch, I would love to own one but it's a bit out of my price range at this time.

Actually the 243 comes with the same strap but it is SS instead of TI like the 25. I personally think the 243 is closer to the 305 than the 25, mainly due to the 1950's case and strap.

....Don't forget the 243 has a thicker crystal, too.

nice! :)

the bezel is what makes it 47mm? does the watch grow lug-to-lug from a 44mm 1950 case?

HUGE CONGRATS (pun intended)...
the 47mm 1950 cases actually wear small and in the 305 you have the new standard in PAM divers...very nice..enjoy that baby!

Huge Congrats for a HUGE watch

As i posted in the other thread, the watch is not too BIG, it's HUGE !!!

But the 1950 case makes it looks slim and the titanium makes it light to wear

This is my buddy's, Mic6, Pam 305.

Comparison pic with my LV

It does look huge, especially when you add the crown guard & the large flat bezel.
I prefer the 47mm Radiomirs

Surely it's a beast. Though I must confess, I wouldn't mind trying it around the block a couple of times.

It's not too big, it's just right! I have 7" wrists and the 305 is a perfect fit for it. Anything smaller just doesn't feel right anymore. I'm even tempted by the Big Egiziano at 60mm! :)
My 305 is one of my favorites. Made it real easy to sell my 233 in trade toward a 217 so I could have another 47mm.
