Seamaster CO-AXIAL FAKE?
A friend gave me this watch and thought it was fake. For one who never owned/handled this type of watch it appears well made and looks good. However, it keeps terrible time! I am sure it is fake, but what are the tell tale signs? What kind of movement can I expect to find inside it? Sorry for the poor quality of some of the photos.

Its a fake for sure. I don't think i have seen that dial before. The bezel is way off.
The movement inside is prob just some cheap chinese movt. |

That has to be one of the worst Omega fakes I've ever seen, doesn't look anything like a Planet Ocean. Wrong dial, wrong bracelet, wrong clasp, wrong case back, wrong sub dials. It would have to take someone completely ignorant of the Omega range to believe it is real. The movement is quite obviously not a chronograph movement, and will probably be something cheap, Chinese, and basic.
I hope your friend isn't aware that watches like these fund organised crime - if he was and still bought it, then shame on him

Like what was said above, I think the easiest way to tell is to check whether the chronograph works.

Fake Seamaster
I gave the watch back o my "friend." He said that he is going to have the watch serviced/repaired and wants to know if I am interested in buying it from him! Told him I wanted to take it for a "test drive" to see if it keeps good time. I am really not interested in the watch but curious to see what turns up!
