Rolex Milgauss

Hi everyone! I am new to this. My watch guy gave me a call today to tell me about a Rolex Milgauss with the Green crystal. He was tell me that it is a pretty hard to find watch. Is this true?? I am pretty new to rolex so I was just wondering if this watch would be a good investment. Thanks for the help

Welcome to TRF! The GV Milgauss is not as hard to find as it was a year ago but still a tad rare. But for investment? No, find something else to "invest" your money in. But, if you like the watch and can afford it, get it. It's a beautiful piece and very unique. Always a joy to wear!

They are very easy to find and a poor investment. Some folks paid over $12,000 for them.

If Rolex discontinues the Milgauss in the next couple of years as it did the first two incarnations then it will appreciate in value, no doubt.

If it remains a current model from here-on in then it's all down to the price you pay for it.

If you get it for less than $5300 you'll generally get your money back in the future, more than that is pure speculation.

Buy it, enjoy it and leave it to the next generation to discover if it was a decent investment.

There are always one or two for sale in the sales corner of the forum. I would not buy for investment purpose though

Great watch but not hard to find. Buy it if you like how it looks.
....but please don't forget to share the pictures.
