Although this is not a new topic, I have read it before in these forum pages.

Would be interesting to find out.

What time does your watch show, when the date "click over"?

I was up late watching "Las Vegas" last night, when I decided to wait for the "click over".

It was LATE, 12:04:35 seconds +/- 1 second.

I thought it was going to click over exactly at 12:00:00 maybe +/- 5 seconds, would have been hopeful.

I am wearing a TT GMT Master II, Root beer dial, by the way.

So what have you guys been experiencing?

With my TT Blue Sub....just a few seconds before '12'....but this is NOT consistent.

With the SD, saw it just once....like 1½ minutes after midnight.

Don't remember on my previous Rolexes...but on my current one (Sea Dweller) its around 00:01 or 00:02...

I was looking at my SD today and the date changed over at around
12:02:58am.

hmnn...noticed mine's changed BY 00:00:15....... hmnnn sometimes i do wonder why rollies's date dun changed at 00:00:00? afterall, isn't their movement suppose to 101%?

Hhhmmm, looks like so far, I am the slowest to click over.

So, JJ, you said not consistent. This means that with the same watch, it is different from day to day?

Guess, I will have to watch out for it over the next few days.

I was close to giving up waiting, it was to be around 12:05. Good thing it was about half a minute before I fell asleep with my eyes open.

SS changes at 11:43pm and the Gold changes at 11:13pm

Have not checked mine lately, but remeber once was in bed and heard all three click over on my bedside table within a few seconds.

Took me awhile to figure out exactly what it was.

Mr. K, wow 3 clicks within seconds of each other. That is pretty good, all 3 Rollies in sync. Which ones do you have, BTW?

Mikey, well so far your Gold seems to be the earliest. Is it a DJ? Just noticed your avatar.

Now I have 2 subs. SS date and TT blue.

4 DJs and 1 exp I.

I love them all.

Of all the times I have seen it change... about 3 times. It is pretty consistent: 11:59:45 p.m.

I wonder if Rolex would "calibrate" this to click over at exactly midnight?

Might make up as an unusual request at the RSC.

+ or - 5 minutes from midnight is quite normal and acceptable. If unhappy, I'm sure a RSC or watchmaker would easily adjust the minute hand for you.

I am about 2-2.5 minutes past 12 midnight for the change over on my GMT, SUB LV, and EXP II.

Date still has not changed over on my 14060M Sub. May have to send to the RSC.

On my IWC UTC, the date gradually starts to change over at 2330 and is completed by around 0035 hrs.

My earilest is 11:59 and change, the slowest is about 12:04.

Yes, with the same watch you will find a variation in time with the date change at midnight.

I remember when I first got my TT Blue Sub, the date would change a few seconds AFTER midnight. Now it changes about 20 seconds BEFORE midnight.

With the SD I've just had one opportunity to check.

I see mine change over all the time ( up till 2am or later everynight), its usually within the 5 seconds after midnight
