Greetings all...
I am new to the forum and I wanted to intoduce myself. I am not a proud owner of a Rolex just yet but soon to be. I will post pics, etc as soon as I make my first purchase.
I have enjoyed "lurking" the site for info on Rolex watches and have learned a lot so far. Looking forward to future posts. Cheers, Joe in California |

Thanks for the warm welcome all. Fitchy- I am considering a SS Submariner w/ or w/o date, GMT w' black/red bezel, or I may splurge on a TT blue Sub. which is my absolute fav. Rolex. I've wanted a Rolex ever since I was 15 yrs old. I am now 35....and it's time. My current ESQ SS "gmt style" simply does not cut the mustard. I had no clue there were so many other Rolex enthusiasts out there. ie on this forum. I told my girlfriend about this site.....and she cracks up. Hey, girls like their diamonds right? A Rolex looks good with anything you wear. Cheers, Joe |

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Fitchy- I just sealed the deal on a pre-owned TT Submariner blue, stainless steel and gold. This is the watch I've wanted for while now. I was just about sold on a SS Submariner, but I went all out for the two tone!! Pics to come soon. |

Hi Joe "CONGRATULATIONS" on your first purchase, Submariner a is a fine watch.
I was 32 when i puchased my first Rolex, a Sea Dweller 4000, its currently at Rolex getting a new crystal and its second service. I will post pictures when my baby returns home. its said that a dog is for life not just for Christmas, this is untrue, a Rolex is for life! All the best Fitchy |

Second, you have made a friend for life when JJ finds out that you've settled on a TT Blue Sub. He's going to be insufferable, showering you (and the rest of us) with even more pics of his baby. But despite that, do stick around and have a great time here.

I told my girlfriend about this site.....and she cracks up. Hey, girls like their diamonds right?
Almost exactly what my girl said too. When I go to look at Rolex she loves to come along to look at diamonds. She says she would rather I spend money on a Rolex then on a weekend in Vegas. Serious congratulations on your TT Blue Sub. I was going to clearly recommend that as the one for you to buy (might as well get what you really want), but you bought it already! Thrilled for you! I bought mine about two weeks ago and love it! You will too Dude! Pics please when you get a chance! Welcome to the "Blues Brothers" and to the forum.. |
