Woof! Guy asking a bomb for 5513 on eBay!!

Errmmm...gorgeous watch -- really one of the nicest looking, in my view, but $3,450??? And no bracelet??

I paid $1600 for mine about three-four years ago, AND I got that nifty jube bracelet you see in the photo! (Since has been tightened by classicwatchparts.com and looks fab).

Did prices recently skyrocket (another good Roller!) for these watches??

Even so, I bet he can't sell it for that price (will monitor).

Well, put it this way - if you were over here in the UK and you offered me $3450.00 for my Matte dial (a 660ft first dial, not a meters first like yours which is more desirable) 5513........I would turn your offer down.

Cheers - Neil.

Hmmm. Didn't know that about metres first. Is that because of scarcity? Or is there some other factor?

Mine is all original except, clearly, for the bracelet, which was added contemporaneously with the purchase of the watch according to the paper trail. Never relumed or anything silly of that sort.

Thanks for the interesting replies.

5513s are hot right now and good examples are getting hard to find. Prices have headed north of 4k with some saying 5k isn't to far away.
Add certain other features and go beyond that.
