Greetings, I have a simple question for the experts. I have a 2010 Explorer 2 watch, and my question is this:

When I unscrew the crown till it releases, I believe that this is how you wuld manually wind it. When I turn it clockwise, it seems to go rough, when I go counter clockwise, it is smooth. Does this seem correct?

The crown only winds the watch in the clockwise direction, so it will take more exertion and the ratchet action is more positive in that direction. Winding in the anti-clockwise direction does nothing and the crown sort of free-wheels when turned that way.......

So in other words, that is normal or it to have that ratchet feel when winding?

You should feel resistance, though the winding (which results in gears grinding) should be a smooth resistance.
