The SS BLUE sub does exist. It was manufactured in a very limited series and sold @ Europe. Not kidding. One of my suppliers has one; it looks sharp!

Gerardo speaks the truth. A very few limited ones were made. Virtually impossible to find.

I thought it was a GMT, not a Sub. Am I wrong?

Well,...Some history...
The Blue Sub is one of those things that gets hotly debated in the vintage community on ocassion. There are some real heavy weight collectors that say the watch was made in limited numbers in the early 90s for the Asian community. There are also heavy weight collectors that say the watch was at best a "marriage" watch of parts from an SS and TT sub. Lending to the arguement is the fact that a few years ago one was auctioned on Antiquorum for a bunch of money. This is a pic, I've always been on the fence. I DO remember seeing a Blue dial, Blue Bezel with B & P for sale on a vintage dealer's sitehere in the U.S. not that long ago. What struck me was the dial seemed to be of contemporary design (SWISS MADE) and the price was in line with any used Sub. I've always been on the fence. I guess my thought is if such a watch exists why doesn't somebody post a photo? That's NOT to say it doesn't exist, but I would think somebody would. What DOES exist, and proverance can be established is a Tiffiany sub with a geninue Rolex Blue Bezel. One recently sold for 85K. This is the watch, What also exists is a Blue Bezel GMT. Madeduring the 70s and sold in the mid-east. These pieces bore mid-east markings as was done during the era. Rolex has serviced these pieces and documented. NOT MY WATCH, |

Make it with a yellow 24 hour hand to stay with the nautical theme.

I wonder if the blue bezel insert on the matte dialed Sub is from a Tudor sub.
The blue bezeled GMT would be a nice pickup.
