I bought a brand new 50th Anniversary Submariner (Green Bezel) in July 2010 it was from a jewellers but not a authorised Rolex dealer, I know the watch is real and the shop has a good rep and been around for years.

All I got with the watch was the protective pieces, the two piece box set, and a warranty card, no booklets or service book etc.

Any idea why this could be? The watch was new unworn however originated in Singapore if this makes a difference..

Can only speculate why they didn't include the books, but they do come with the watch when you buy from an AD. You should get the Submariner booklet, warranty booklet, and a Factory Service booklet. It should also have two (2) boxes and an outer sleeve.

did you ask the jeweller if they had them. look under the white padding in the bottom half of the box. you can get them on ebay. put an ad on here in the wanted section.

Stop by some Dealers....... No reason why one of them wouldn't have a few booklets laying around, or write a letter to Rolex........
