Rate the Brand? Opinions Needed Pls.
Hello fellow TRFers, i just recently purchased a Navi Marathon watch and am very excited. i just needed an "extra" watch for my work so the Marathon was perfect but got me thinking about other potential watch brands in my future. was never a big fan of Omega, but am very interested in Bell&Ross? the watch would be worn for casual use, nothing like a black tie dinner, but would work with a suit and/or shirt/shorts
so i need just your opinions/input...possibly based on experience? of the watches listed, can you place them in the order of your preference? #1 being the first, #5 last. and if theres is an explanation, please state. not looking at specific models (i know, thats hard) but the overall brand itself. THANKS everyone here are the five im curious about (but not my order): 1) TUDOR 2) OMEGA 3) BELL&ROSS 4) PANERAI 5) BREITLANG

2 5 1 3 Very close call between Panerai and Omega, though, both cracking brands and I'd gladly own watches from both of their ranges |

All of the mentioned brands are great in every possible way, so my completely biased list would look like this:
1 5 2 4 3

Lists like these are always personal but here goes my opinion...
1) Panerai 2) Omega 3) Tudor 4) Bell & Ross 5) Breitling You can probably guess I have a few PAMs, Omega's and now a Tudor...

4 – Panerai – Unique, very hip look particularly in Titanium. Expensive, might as well get a Rolex if your going to part with that much money.
1 – Tudor for value and quality, and uniqueness if you live in the US. Chronograph go with ETA 7750 2 - Omega – You gotta have a Speedy Pro! 3 – Bell and Ross – Get a Sinn they used to make B&R so get the real manufacture. 5 – Overpriced, and too sparkly.

my list would read like this:
Omega--too special Breitling-too good Panerai--style king Tudor---looks good Bell&Ross-unique though its not in the same league as the other brands in this list, IMHO, and that really doesnt mean its not good or anything. |
