I want to see a scan of the real receipt buddy. Better yet, I want to see a pic of you holding it next to todays new paper while holding a picture ID in front of a police man to verify the ID at your local notary.
And gratz on obtaining a Rolex, which model did you get?

Easy 25% on a 116718, 30%+ on a 16718.

I do not wish to see your invoice, AD name or address or anything else, BUT it would be a measure of good faith that you AT LEAST told us the discount % you received.

As some of the forum members did.

If someone gets a discount I just say good for you. I am no less a man for getting no discount, or a discount not as great.

A bigger factor woul dbe the ability to afford the watch in the first place. Did it take one month's income to buy? One week's? A year's worth? Then again that is no one's business. If you have a used Air King at $1500 that took 2 years to save for, you have the same rights here as the dude who buys a watch a month.

So there.

Looks like the pic is from ebay. Hope you ordered yours from an AD.

Enjoy.

32% is a very good discount. I don't think many AD's would match that on a brand new watch.
Apart from that it is one heck of a watch, so more power to you!
The wait is probably killing you but I'm sure it will be worth it.
Regards

The whole thing with discounts is getting a little old for me. I absolutely applaud those who are able to get them, but for me it's this: either I can afford the watch or I can't.

If I can afford a certain watch I go to the best AD in my area, and make a "clean buy", i.e. brand new, perfect cond. with all papers and certs. If I can get a nice deal on it I'm happy, but that's not the main point. The main point for me is THE WATCH!!! Cheers, Larry.
