I was in an AD this past week and was having a conversation with a Rolex watch maker. He stated that he had a customer come into his store a couple days prior to me visiting with a mint 1680 Red Sub. He said he went through all the paper work and authenticated the watch. The owner of the watch was trying to trade it in for a new Daytona and was asking for a 13.5K trade value for it.

Do you think a red sub is worth this much? Where can I get info on the value of a time piece like this? The watch is complete with the original box and papers and the recent servicing from RSC.

Yes if it is in mint condition all original parts no service replacements.. So almost untouched..... Google for the info.. Or search the forum.
