Daytona Instructions Booklet
Looking for a scanned copy (i.e pdf) of the english version of the Rolex Daytona watch. I recently bought the watch during my travels to Hong Kong, but it came with a Chinese booklet and I can't read it :(

Hi Mike!
Good to hear that you have successfully got one in HK ! It usually comes with a chi/eng instruction booklet.

With the Daytona I purchased in HK, I received separate English / Chinese instruction booklets. I recall that there are downloadable user guides at rolex.com, but I'm not sure if these are exactly the same as the instructions which accompany the watch...

1.1 Unscrew the crown--located on the side of the watch at the 3 o'clock position--by turning it counterclockwise. You will feel the crown pop out and into position 2 when it is unscrewed. (The crown is in position 1 when it is screwed down.) 2.2 Turn the crown clockwise while it is in position 2 to manually wind the watch. Although the Daytona is self-winding, it will stop if it has not been worn or put in a watch winder for roughly two days. You will feel slight tension in the crown when the watch is fully wound. 3.3 Pull the crown out one notch to position 3 to change the time. Turn the crown clockwise to move the minute/hour hands. 4.4 Push the crown back into the watch while turning it clockwise to return the crown to position 1. The crown should be just finger tight to ensure the watch case is waterproof. 5.5 Operate the stopwatch and chronograph function by pressing the button located above the crown on the 3 o'clock side of the watch. The counter on the watch face at 9 o'clock measures hours, the counter at 3 o'clock measures minutes, and the counter at 6 o'clock is one full second. Stop the stopwatch by pressing the top button again. Reset the stopwatch by pressing the button below the crown.Myself would not run the Chronograph function continually, only use it when needed .Although I would doubt if it would cause any problem if you did.
