Icon10 DERREN BROWN: Scarier than Bezel Theft! Extra Protection/Watch Security USELESS! :-)

Reading the recent post about Bezel Theft reminded me of Derren Brown, who literally could have you GIVING him your watch, keys, wallet, money, and cellular telephone......if you ran into him on the London Underground (no scarf needed, and more than a bezel potentially gone).

Seemingly no extra protection, or watch security measures would keep your watch safe from him (if you actually wear it, that is!).....

Quite the entertainer......and I had forgotten about him until I was reminded of him (and David Blaine) by reading the Bezel Theft attempt post....

Have no idea if any of this is "real", but here are a few interesting videos of him "at work"....Enjoy!!

Nathan

These aren't the droids your looking for.

Seriously I hope that I am strong minded enough to not fall for that. Then again being the rude cold hearted New Yorker that I am I never stop to help a stranger.

Hmmm...I'd think it would be useful to know your store cashier was stupid enough and gullible enough to accept plain paper instead of money, even momentarily.

I've seen Derren's show, I think on BBCA. Insane, some of the stuff he does.

I am blown away by his skill. Distract then baffle them and they don't even question what their eyes must see.

If the person distracts the seller for a split second, and jumble's the routine, they could do plenty.

We don't have too many people around here do more than shoplift, or pay with fake cash, but I could see this happening.

This one blows my mind- Derren makes a man believe he always wanted something completely different from what he originally claimed...

So, is he using hypnosis or what? It's hard to believe someone would just hand over their goods otherwise.
