Panerai PAM vs. FER

I'm not too familiar with Panerai, but most of the discussion I've seen here is about PAM models, not so much the Ferrari ones. Are the PAMs more popular?

At the Panerai AD, regular Panerai are sold at retail, while Ferrari line can be had at huge discount. Ferrari line in general is not as popular with Paneristi.

The Ferrari ones have FER model numbers, versus other Panerais with PAM model numbers.

Sounds like PAM may also be used as a general term for Panerai though?

The FER line is getting cancelled, very low 2nd market value somyou are basically throwing your money away. Go with Panerai.

I didn't realize the FER line is being cancelled - that's probably a good indicator of its lack of popularity.

Makes you wonder since it was a short run and not so popular, maybe they will be worth a lot of money due to it's rarity. I recall some Rolex models were not popular and had very few made and now are worth a lot.
my 2 cents

Ferrari brands everything. They won't be worth much. Just google "Ferrari branding" under an image search.

Shoes, laptops, LCD's, sunglasses, alarm clocks, gloves, cell phones, weight set. Really, did I just see a weight set?
