Your best photo
There have been a lot of absolutely fantastic pictures all over this forum. I'd like everyone to post their best Rolex picture. One picture per member please. I know not everyone has a professional setup (myself included), but don't let that stop you from posting the best you have.
I like this one because of the way the dial sparkles. Too bad the minute had is covering the "R"!

This ranks as one of my favourites - the Sea Dweller in its natural environment.

This is one of the best that I have shot. The watches are placed on an original 1954 ad for the "new" Explorer, featuring the successful conquest of Mt. Everest.

Great pics everyone! Keep 'em coming!
JJ I knew you wouldn't be able to adhere to the one pic per member rule! Gedanken, Great shot of your SD! I love how it matches its' surroundings -- the silver in the bracelet matching the water and the black dial and bezel matching the rocks!

Steve-o posted a gun/watch pic and I thought it was fine to follow suit. I didn't think there was a sensitivity issue with what I posted. My "Knee-Jerk" reaction was do to feeling insulted by the Va. Tech association that my pics apparently sparked. Regardless, point taken and pics removed.

okay. I have to say this and being one of the very few women on this forum, I'm sure I'll be outnumbered (I'm about to hijack my own thread). The number of weapons I see on this forum disturbs me. Especially in the wake of the shootings at Virginia Tech. I'm all for the right to bear arms, but there has to be some gun control in this misguided country of mine. Weapons for hunting animals are one thing. Those that can allow 1 man to kill 32 innocent people should be outlawed.
Okay, I've had my rant.

Hi Melissa,
You are of course quite right to have your say on your own thread. As for Alan's pix I cant tell if it is a Rolex so it doesn't meet your criteria. If you had wanted the best pix of a rifle or a pistol I suppose you would have asked for it. His knee-jerk reaction says it all really. Anyway, back to your thread. I gave my SD a bath this morning and noticed it was still a bit dirty around the case back, so I popped the back off and gave it a clean up. Here is a pix I took of the engine room. Eddie.

Got to agree, not the time to be flaunting your guns. A little discretion and sensitivity at this time wouldn't have gone amiss in my opinion.

Thanks for understanding, guys. Allen, I appreciate you're removing your picture. I really just want to see pictures that showcase the beauty of Rolex. I should have been more specific.
