Icon17 *PICS* => Visit to my AD

Hey boys and girls,

Back in November last year I went to the continent to pick up my beloved Daytona (wearing it today ). While I was at my AD I tried on a few pieces and here are the pics for your viewing pleasure.

My AD always has everything from white and black 116520s in stock, GVs, 14k, never worn 16610LVs, new Subs, you name it, he's got it, or can get it - at discount as he's an independent AD, I got 20% of my Daytona

Basically he has on average over 300 watches sitting in his basement safe, and about 20 in his shop safe. He has been robbed so many times that the insurance company has made him install a safe similar to the one used in Ocean's 11

Anyway, let's get to the pictures, hope you all enjoy watching as much as I did trying them on

Here are some of the watches he has readily available for customers to try on you can almost hear them go "pick me, pick me"! i didn't get a snap of the other box as my crappy BlackBerry decided to die after taking these pics, but the box was as equally impressing

This is one heavy beast, the 116718. Lovely lovely watch

Here I'm comparing my YM to the 116713 - the new 18K/SS GMT is a stunning watch, and i'll be adding it to my collection sometime this year

here we go - the new Sub LV. the dial = my Daytona is sitting in the background, smiling

Comparing it to the GMT, great contrasts, would look amazing in my box at home

And again, true watch porn to a WIS

Why not?

thanks for watching guys

Nice shots!!

Definately a bit of everything there. Being around that many nice watches makes you never want to leave.
I prefer dealing with an independent AD as they are usually more knowledgeable and willing to work with you.
Nice pics again

the DDII has been calling for a little while now..... that YG DDII is screaming "pick me, pick me" (i would most likely to settle for a WG DDII with white roman ivory dial me thinks )

hey Eric! how's tricks mate?? i'd love a DDII too, it comes with a hefty tag and i wouldnt' want to spend my 2011 watch allowance on just one..

as you know GV and Root Beer are in the house, so it's just a 116713 and hopefully a white Milgauss i'll be adding for the remainder of this year (i've now also got my eyes on the SubC LV, what a stunning watch!!!

Great thread. Seeing all the watches together really simplifies their sizes and looks. Fantastic.
