REDUX: Need help fast! Rolex Discount from AD question
Hi Everyone!
I made a slight mistake. I can get an 8% discount on a brand new D-series (not Z-series) Explorer II with a white dial from an AD who said it came from Rolex 45 days ago. Is this still a good deal (ie, for a D-series as opposed to a Z-series)? Thanks a lot (again!). Sincerely, David |

Sure is. It is the overall condition that counts and since both watches are brand new D or Z would make no difference.

I find it interesting that they say they got a D serial from Rolex a little over a month ago, but no big deal.
Stil a good deal, in fact, it is neither a better or worse deal than for a Z serial. When Rolex raies their prices, they go into effect immediatly, not with the next serial number or anything. Plus, there were no changeto that model from D to Z. Cliffs: Good deal, go for it! ![]() |

The reason why they won't discount the "Z" series like the "D" series is because the "D" ended before the October 2006 price increase. Make sure it is not a low "D" series serial number look for a D7XXXXX or higher.
