Moral support...

Hi all

I currently own a stainless Sub C and a stainless black dial Daytona (both purchased brand new last year).

I'm contemplating a third and the two tone GMT II C has caught my attention.

I think this would make a nice addition but am seeking some moral support and/or pros/cons...

Thanks!

Hey if thats what you want go for it.

I actually purchased a TT DJ II for my third one. At the time I thought this might be better because that way I would have a something a bit more dressy.

At first I though no to similar but then I re-read: two-tone! That would make a great addition, I think.

That or pick up something dressier from another brand, e.g. on leather strap.

Bought the two tone gmtc first and then the ss sub c. Love the splash of gold on the gmt as well as the gold letters on the bezel.

After amassing a modest collection of SS Rolex watches, I bought my first TT earlier this year (a Daytona) and really love the flash of gold it brings.

I wouldn't hesitate with your proposed next purchase - but there again, as said above... you are asking this on a Rolex forum!!??

When it comes to TT or precious metal Rolexes go pre-owned. For SS go new. The TT and precious metal Rolexes take a brutal price drop - new vs. pre-owned.

The TT GMT IIc is one of the best looking Rolex IMO. It would make an outstanding addition to your collection.

The TT GMT C would be an excellent choice! I have a TT and an SS and the TT really "pops". The gold imprinted bezel is gorgeous in person and the green hand is a striking contrast to the gold. With the TT you get the look of gold with a cost closer to SS.
