Speedy Pro
Ok, I just purchased my first Speedmaster (moonwatch) from DSW
My last Omega purchase was a Seamaster pro in 1991 My first impression was WOW , Acrylic crystal , matt dial ,easy to read, this watch is a stunner, can't believe I waited so long to purchase one . Nice box [IMG][/IMG] Need to get my tools out to resize the braclet to my small wrist [IMG][/IMG] 1st I remove the bracelet [IMG][/IMG] Push out the pins in the direction of the arrow [IMG][/IMG] Take some more pics [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] A wrist shot [IMG][/IMG] |

Welcome to the Speedy Club Peter.
Nice one. Very nice pix. PS. Which model spring bar remover is that? Do you have a supplier link? Eddie.

42 - 44 hrs approx.
Depends a bit on whether you have the chrono running.

Congratulations on your first Speedy Pro, Peter! Lookin' good!
I say first because I've owned a couple of dozen over the years and currently have three in the collection. They can become habit forming. But then again, I'm a Speedy nut". Fr. John† |

Very nice. My first proper watch was a Speedmaster MK2 (I was about 16, took forever to save for it), SO every time I see these Speedy posts... I WANT ONE!!!

Hey Peter,
Congratulations and beautiful photographs. The Speedy is an awesome looking watch that doesn't seem to date. All you need is a little Polywatch for later and you will be set for years. Cheers |

Stunning Peter!
Good for you for resizing yourself. Omega bracelets are more of a Pain than Rolexes. Man, this almost makes me want to switch out my OEM Shark strap for the bracelet! |

Congrats on the new Speedy. I had thoughts about selling my 3573.50 in the past but glad I did not as I love seeing the decorated see-thru caseback. Yours is the real classic.
