Sends bogus Paypal payments

Can you elaborate bogus paypal payment?
Sure will help us in learning how to avoid bogus paypal payment type.
New paypal tricks by that guy?

looks like a Paypal payment, but its not sent from a Paypal website

I have had others do the e-check from paypal, expecting me to send the item right away, but Paypal does not clear e-check.

I think the watchout section on TRF is great, so if anyone who wants to do an online transaction can google the other party, and see posts like this

E checks from paypal takes about 4 business days to clear. Sometimes longer for international.
Of course no shipping until echecks are cleared.
And of course always check your paypal account for official payment.
There are other pitfalls to look for too.
Just make doubly sure.

Paypal can indeed hold funds and may not release them completely till they have verified your account ( new or low volume account ) They may even ask you to ship the item and ask you to provide a tracking number . They may even hold these funds up till the buyer has left a satisfactory feedback .
BUT , it will ALWAYS show ( pending ) on your account once you log in to paypal .
When in doubt , send them a mail .... be patient they are slow . You can call them .. a bit faster .
