Hello all. A newbee to TRF. Question, I just bought a Rolex 14K D.J. with Ref.# 6586, Movements are D53651. Doe's anyone know what year this watch was made. I just received it back from AD to have it repaired, cost me a fortune. When I learn how to attach pictures. I will certainly attach it.
Is this by any chance a rare watch? I believe it has a Rolesor Bezel. "Very smooth"

The DJ ref. 6586 was made back in the '50's, so we would need more info to get any closer..

The " Movements.. D53651" doesn't help much because there isn't a database of when movements were made... The watch serial number may narrow it down to a couple of years.........

Rolesor is Rolex-speak for Two Tone watches, so I don't think that is what you mean as regards the bezel........

Great watch. I've got a 60's gold DJ on a strap. It would be a big help to get the serial number and a picture.

To my knowledge there aren't a whole bunch of 14K DJs in the wild. I remember seeing the 14K versions in the ADs in the 80s....

Congrats and Welcome aboard!

Here is a picture of my watch. The serial number is worn off. Have to take it back to AD to look inside casing for date if it is post 1954. Ref # is 6586.
Thx's, Charles

Great watch. I believe that one is a Date, rather than a Datejust.
