YM SS/P Buying question

First this is my first post, I am glad I found this site. My question is this, am I better off buying a "D" series (worn twice with plastic still on the lugs) or a "Z" series for aprox 10% more (NIB) both from GM persons. For argument sake lets say the D is 6.2k whike the Z is 6.75k

Thanks for the input.

Welcome to TRF.
I think you better go with Z serial as if in case you decide to sell it you would get value according to the 2007 manufacture.

Welcome to TRF, Steve.

Both are identical in every way....so, end of the day, your call. Go whichever one that really matters to YOU.

Good luck and post some pics when you can.

Cheers - JJ

Usaveontime dealer

Thank you for the input. Im getting close. I thought I had read somewhere on here that a GM dealer named USaveontime, was thought to be a reputable dealer. Now I cant seem to find the post. Does anyone have any input reguarding this GM dealer?

Again thanks.

I'd go with the D serial and save $550.

In five years time both watches will be of equal value if in identical condition.

Are you talking about usaveontime : the ebay dealer?
If yes then he's a really really honest seller. You would not go wrong with him. Happily go for your purchase.

In a few months time, they'll both fetch the same resale price. Save the money and go with the D

Im leaning towards the Z as the D seller (while I trust most to a fault) has little ebay feedback, though I did get a copy of his origianl bill of sale from a AD for whatever that is worth. Thinking peace of mind for 500.

I Agree...

It will look exactly the same...the D series only worn twice...it's almost new...But you have to look at the conditions of the watches...Is the D series really looks as good as new as he claimes ?

Good luck...

Regards,

Well Steve please check these listings on ebay.com : item no. 140113621836 , item no. 160112477904.
These are the best deals for Yachtmaster. You can further negotiate with the seller so would get a real good deal. Good luck!!!!!

What I know so are they made cars in Europe, right?

I would never buy a watch on ebay. I would look at some of the good dealers who deal with this list and have sold watches to our people. Like Cayce. And contact him and let him find you a watch. He can find you one that is grades as next to new as possible, and really there is little diff. Or go to an AD and slap down 15% less than list in cash and see how you do. I am not that brazen, but others are and seem to do well. aws
