Any Experience?
Has anyone had any experience with Bergeon scratch removal pens? Do they work and does it take any practice? Just thinking they might work well for the inner lugs since there are always those pesky hairlines from strap changes...

I'm almost certain that Larry (Tools) has talked about using one of those. You may want to PM him.

I don't know what it is, but I think Panerai's look better with a few scratches. Yeah, I said better. Now, I have a GMT IIc that when I get a scratch on it, it drives me CRAZY! Damn PCLs. Hence why I am letting the 2c go free. Fingers crossed I have a face to face scheduled next week. Just let go B. The scratches look fine. Maybe you just need to add a few more on the case to even it out!

I have one of the pens and it works well for *most* brushed surfaces. I removed a few desk diving scratches from my Sub-C with it and it blends fairly well but if you look close, you can see where it was touched up. I had better results with a green scotch pad rubbing in the same direction as the brushing (but YMMV on this one).
So, I'd say use it on inconspicuous areas but plan on sending it in for a refinishing every so often (of if you screw up your touch ups). |

Never used one, but have used a Cape Cod cloth and they work great. Just be careful on brushed surfaces as it will make them more polished looking.
