I flipped the LV
I must say I feel better, I was never a great fan of it however it grew on me, but something was not quite right.
I got sucked into the perceived rarity of the piece and my wife and I decided last year to get the LV because it was our 10th Anniversary. Anniversary watch for an Anniversary. I never felt totally satisfied with it (green is just not my thing), so now the game is on, I've always wanted a dweller, but my wrist is a touch on the small side between 71/4 and 71/2 inch, from what I've read people in that range struggle a bit with the dweller. I love my dad's hand me down 5513 and after reading Nicolas's info on the Sub no date, maybe I'm onto something. I just Happen to be going to Sydney this month, and Mr Hacko is also in Sydney and he just happens to have a couple of Sub no dates on his web site. I think I might drop in for a chat.....................Mr Hacko are you there? |

Don't feel bad, I flipped my LV for a SD as well.
Things I like better about the SD. Smaller dial. Thicker case fits wrist better. No Cylcops, is different. Built like a tank. See many people wearing Subs or fakes or knockoffs so nice to have something a little different. With your wrist size you will have no problem. If you want the option to play around with the fit, or if it is a little large, you can always have an AD or watch repairer remove an additional link on the 6 oclock side. The AD has a lot different appearance than the Sub. Also find the larger bezel on the SD easier to get a hold of when wet or wearing gloves, and I use the bezel several times a day for timing. I also have a Sub ND, and love that as well. Little thinner and smaller in diameter than the Sub Date. Gives nice uniform dial appearance. And real long history. But, I do like having a date feature on a watch. The one thing I liked better on the LV though, was the larger minute hand. If I could get that put on my Sd I would be happy. |

Good move, if you do not like the watch, it does not matter how rare it may become oneday. After all you should enjoy it daily.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I believe the same that don't go for the watch because of its rarity or resale value but go for the one with which your heart goes. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
