Rolex bubbleback
Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum, but hope to tap into the expertise of it's members. I recently acquired an 18kt 50's bubbleback that needs some TLC. It currently doesn't run, but the second hand moves when I shake the piece. Also, the watch has had some aggressive polishing over the years. In particular the bezel is worn and some of the hour markers and the fine lines between them are worn. I have a repair person in my area (Pa) that can probably repair the watch mechanically, but I may want to complete a cosmetic restoration, as the bubbleback is a great watch. Can anyone offer some direction on someone who does restoration for the issues I described? Thanks in advance and I look foreward to advice.
