299 and 328...which one to buy?

Hi guys, thinking about buying a panerai with ss bracelet.
For me it comes down to 299 or 328. I understand the 328 has in-house movement as opposed to 299's ETA. Price wise e 328 is also more expensive and exclusive, is this the case? Which one do you suggest? Also i noticed both have the newer style braceley, correct?I had a 112 few years ago i sold it. Regreted. Please post photos or your 299 and 328!

Get what you like, but I doubt the "mini fiddy" case (44mm 1950) is going to be that exclusive. It seems that Panerai realizes that they have a great combo here and are releasing lots of models in the 1950 3 Days range. I have a 359 (same basic case and movement) and I'm quite happy with it. If you consider the cost of a Panerai in-house movement when they first arrived, the price of these newer in-house models is a steal.

328....love the clear back, the 3 day reserve and the 1950 case. After owning it for a year, i bought a strap which really changes up the look! But always get what you like the most.

Between the two, 328 but...

I can't stand the bracelet on my 328. I bought it thinking I would alternate straps and bracelet. Since buying it, the bracelet hasn't seen the light of day

I think the 328 looks stunning on bracelet, but one really has to have very large wrists to pull it off (at least 7.25, probably closer to 7.5").
