New arrival...Tudor chrono

My Sub is my one and only Rolex, although I have always admired the Daytona...especially the white dialed variety. Unfortunately, the budget won't allow me to pull the trigger on one. I think this is the next best thing...

Just got it in the mail today from Mike (Invision). The quality of the case and dial is exceptional. The fact that it has a date complication makes it that much more useful for everyday wear at the office. Tried it on a black/white Zulu and it looks great as well. Who needs a Daytona!?

Great watch. It's on my must get list. Your right I also love the date complication on this model. Your nylon experiment will make Dan happy.

Personally, I think Tudor makes the best chronos out there. At least best looking.

For full disclosure, the Daytona is out of my reach. Even so, I would not feel at all like I 'settled' for the Tudor. It's a gorgeous watch and I prefer to have the date feature. Congrats.

I think that's the consensus of all Tudor owners.

Thanks all. Love the watch. I'm trying to figure out the bracelet. Seems like I need one more link removed from the 6 o'clock side, but I've removed all the removeable links. I have a small wrist and typically need a much shorter 6 o'clock side on my bracelets.

Anyone have any ideas? I could try picking up an oyster bracelet to see if that fits better...the watch currently has a jubilee style bracelet on it.

You'll find the same issue w/ the Oyster bracelet I'm afraid.

But if you find a solution let me know if you want to sell the Tudor jubilee.

It's a great looking bracelet. There's gotta be a way...says my engineer brain. Just sent Steve M a PM for thoughts.

Just onemore removeable link on that side would do the trick...argh!

Honestly, I think the Daytona would be the "next best" to your Tudor; that's a GREAT lookin' watch! Congratulations!!

Beautiful watch and an outstanding choice. I hope you can make the jubilee work for you as I have always thought it was a great match for these. I'd love to pick one up sometime for mine. Congrats and enjoy it!!!

Beautiful! Congrats! I'd argue that it is the best thing! Especially if you consider the price/performance ratio!

I enjoy mine very very much just because of that: It offers so much fun for the money spent! I see Daytonas every now and then, but where I live I rarely see a Tudor.

Best,

A

Stunning watch mate! For all practical purposes at least as good as the Daytona I think.
