Good deal on GMT II at AD?

First post... been following the forums for a few weeks as I prepare to pickup my first Rolex. I want the GMT II w/ ceramic bezel as I travel every week to different time zones.

Went to my local AD today and asked what they could do on the GMT.

I was surprised when they came back with $6200 vs the retail of $7250. They also add in an extended warranty via themselves to take it to 5 years once the official Rolex one ends.

I don't think I will find a better offer from an AD but what do you guys think?

Welcome to the forum...that sounds like an excellent price direct from the AD with the extended coverage. I would jump all over that deal. Also, don't forget to post pics when you get her home!

That's a great deal! I was in the market for a gmt2c and a subc ... best I got from my ad was 8 percent off either so I went w the sub. If he gave me 15 on the GMT, I definitely would have bought it.

Have them ship it out to another state close by and save the 500 or so in sales tax, now that would be a GREAT deal

Is that price with or without tax? If it's with, go for it! If not, try to get them to include it!

Go for it, I overpaid for mine 7k! Next time I'm buying from our trusted TRF sellers. In my defense, I joined the forum AFTER, I bought the watch.

The price is good. Even though they are not charging you tax you are still responsible to pay tax to your state if it has a sales tax.
