The 16610/LV was my first new Rolex purchased since buying a brand new 1680 in 1975. In my opinion, there was no real upgrade to my 1680 prior to the release of the LV's, which Rolex truly got it right. I strongly feel that the LV with either green or black aluminum bezel insert is the finest Submariner to date.
