Saturday's vacation watch?

This year, I have three options that I have narrowed my choice to:

Rolex sub
Rolex GMT Master 11
Breitling for Bentley Motors

The GMT is my newest and my current fav. What would you choose to take to Mexico?

Gotta go with the GMT. You can go practical and tell all the other watches it's because of the multi time zone feature. That way, no one's feelings are hurt.

Will you be swimming? The sub might be a better option, in case you free dive down to 1000 feet. :)

then go with the GMT. I've traveled with my Explorer II for years now and I actually appreciate the 2nd timezone hand, and it's plenty fine for swimming/snorkeling.

Would you worry about scratching the polished links?

Seconded. I don't mind that my PCLs are scuffed up; they have been that way for over two years now. Ten minutes with a polishing cloth takes care of that, but I'm not even concerned or ready to polish.

GMTII, seems to be the one you want to take, make sense go for it.

I would wear the others in the meantime before going on vacation.

We stayed by Playa del Carmen, in the Occidental Grand Xcaret.

OP, be sure to check out the Xcaret Park. It has an underground river!

We did some Cenote Diving while down there...Dos Ojos and The Bat Cave.

Awesome vacation.

switch the strap on a Sub or GMT to a Nato, bring down the potential for muggings.

You can't go wrong with any of them. The best part is that you'll be creating memories with one of them!

I wore my SS Daytona to Playa last October and had a ball....whether in the ocean, at the pool, or out at dinner, I enjoyed every minute wearing it!

Have fun and be safe
