Icon10 ***Official 2011 NCAA March Madness Thread***

Another year, another tournament. I may only be speaking for myself here, but this is the greatest sporting event there is, and I'm not even a huge fan of basketball.

So far so good for me. Unlike most I didn't have Louisville in the 8 or 4 round... Lost By one point, ouch!

It goes against my being, but I have MSU losing tonight

Let's here it, who's your team, who do you have winning it all.

Pulling of OSU here.

I have OSU in one bracket ,and Uconn in the other. Kansas is the biggest fraud of all the #1 seeds.

I have Florida beating Duke in the finals. And yes, that is based on emotion/wishful thinking... not unbiased analysis!

NuHuh...

I have them in my final 4, I havent seen Kansas play all year, I sure hope they prove you all wrong for my sake.

This is a sad year for me, take look at the avatar, pic in front of the Sparty statue on campus. Die hard State fan, and I have picked UCLA to win... Broke my heart a little. Worst team I've seen in 12 years, not what you would expect for a coach with 6 final 4's in 11 years...

So far so good. The only twompics I have wrong is Butler and Penn St.
I was even right on Richmond and Morehead St. I'm scary good.

Yeah St. Johns was a popular pick. The won a lot of big games but they were extremely inconsistent.

Ugh.

That's ok, I had Tenn losing to Duke.

As long as UofM doesn't beat Duke...

Some good games today. I think Gonzaga is going to upset BYU if you can call that an upset. And a 12 or 13 seed is guaranteed to make it to the Sweet Sixteen depending on the winner of the Morehead St./Richmond game.

That's the game I wanna watch. I think that Byu will be overmatched. The St John and BYU would have been more of a similar match up.

Still correct on final 4, 8/8, 14/16 on one bracket

And

still correct on final 4, 7/8, 15-16 on the other.

Not a bad day yesterday. Currently third out if 62 people, and I still have tons of potential points.

So, anyone have Butler v Wisconsin in the Sweet 16? I sure didn't.

Still first place, i think anyone with a chance to win my pool had Pit going far, so that didn't hurt me too bad.

Stupid BYU

I know Gonzaga decided not to show up. I think a majority of people thought Pitt would at least make the sweet sixteen. March Madness in full swing.

My old school, University of San Francisco is not in NCAA or NIT, it's in C.I.T.
They've won 2 straight, defeated Idaho.......defeated U of Hawaii last night....exciting game.
Tuesday vs. our ancient bay area rival Santa Clara U.
Go Dons!

I never even heard of the C.I.T. I had to look it up. I cannot believe there is now a third tournament.

That would hurt everyone in my pool, but you never know. Lots of ball to be played.

OSU seems to be head and shoulders above the field tho. I have no problem putting them on top because I'm a Michigan State fan and I... do not care for U of M all that much.

Devastated that my alma mater Michigan came so close to knocking off Duke but came up short. Very proud of the team. However, all the stars return next year and this is going to be a dangerous team next season. The program is on it's way back to glory.

A very young team, I crack jokes about Michigan all day, but to see them rise again, not just in basketball, but football as well, as long as Michigan State always beats them, that would be cool, and I hope the best for them...

Florida State hurt me a little, and since most people near the top, myself included, have Ohio state winning, it all depends on what variation wins out. Currently I'm in second, if Kansas, OSU, Duke, and Flordia hit the final 4, I should be in good shape.

At least one more game for my sake.

At this point I am almost guaranteed to rake home 350 bucks, just a few more wins and I'm all set.
