Do a search... type "omega bracelet fit". There is a nice tutorial by Tools on Omega bracelets. When you tap out the pins, just be careful not to lose the sleeves. It is not difficult but does require some finesse. In a pinch, I used pieces of a large safety pin as my pin taps, and a small hammer. I rested the bracelet on small toy wood blocks. Now, I have fancier watch tools to make it easier.

Just pop in to an omega AD, or boutique and they should do if for you for free. I have popped into the omega boutique and was gob smacked at how helpful they were. They have got me for life as a customer.

that can be handy, but sometimes the AD can be abit further away. my nearest friendly AD is 5 miles away

imo - i think it is great to have the correct tool and be able to do it yourself. adds more WIS experience/satisfaction.

Don't worry too much. I was in the situation as you recently. I have never sized a bracelet in my life as I have always worn rubber/leather but I sized a screw type bracelet and a link pin bracelet in an interval of 3 weeks by myself. Its really easy, if I can do it anyone can do it.

You just need to get something (micro screw driver or just get one of those watch adjustment kit from amazon or ebay) small enough to push the link pin out and something to knock against the micro driver type tool if its too tight to push it out. Just be careful not to let the tool slip and scratch the bracelet!

There's a tudorial here. http://mywatchmaker.net/epages/sizingbracelets.htm

I am very unpractical and did it very easily so I know it's not hard. I used a hammer with a plastic head I got from Harbour Freight tools for $5 something and a pin pusher, but I can't remember the size of pusher- I'll find out. After I finished I wondered what all the fuss was about with people saying they don't like push pins. It's very easy just don't loose the sleeves the push pins go into.
