How many watches do you travel with?
And how do you store them?
I've always traveled with just my trusty Explorer II, but now I'm thinking about bringing his new brother along also. :) |

Depends on how long a trip & where.......I store the watches in a Bill's Case....ballistic nylon, soft case, w/ great padding.....4, 6 & 8 watch cases.
check them out @ Broadarrow.net

Just one...in case I want to buy another while I'm there. Plus it's just easier worrying about the one on your wrist IMHO.

I always travel with one watch. And always an Explorer. I or II. Like you. Perfect companion, and all my focus on the trip (business or pleasure) rather than on which watch to wear.
Best, A Edit: Have to correct myself: I did travel once without an Explorer. It was no good. The watch was great, but it should have been one of the Explorers... I remember thinking about that. |

I previously traveled with 4-5 watches, but now I have started traveling with just 1 on a regular trip, and 2 watches on a dive trip. I only take 2 on the dive trip just in case one of them floods.
I don't trust a safe in a hotel. It is little better than a kid's lunchbox mounted on the wall.

I have a great two watch case that I travel with, so I usually take three. However on short business trips I just take one...

Depends on what im doing on the trip. I've planned vacations so I could go to a GTG and traveled with 6-8 watches.

I travel with the watch on my wrist and the only time it comes off is to shower. The less you have when traveling the easier things get.

I know it's his right but, equally, I know that customs officials can be suspicious, petty little jobs-worths who don't like people who appear to be very wealthy (like someone carrying a dozen high end watches!). I just thought that it could lead to un-necessary hassle and delay, not that he was doing anything wrong. Just sometimes feels like you are guilty until proven innocent and I could do without another pain in the ass while traveling! |

Usually one but occasionally 2
My trusty GMTIIC and/or my Blancpain Timezone 2160-1527, or my Reverso Duo. All great travel watches for different occasions.

Sounds like one is the way to go, until I talk my wife into diving and have an excuse to buy another watch. :)
