Photos of restored Tudor

Hello Everyone,

First of all I would like to thank all of you for your great posts in the various categories. I have learned a lot in the last year.

I was given my Grandfathers Tudor in 1986 by my Grandmother and I finally got it restored this past summer.

It received a complete service, new crystal, new Rolex crown, gold replating and a very complimentary crocodile strap.

The hands and dial remain original. I am extremely happy with it and can't believe what a gorgeous watch it is.

I haven't been able to find out very much information on it from the Tudor database so if anyone has any info on the date of this watch or any other info I would be very appreciative. Any guesses on the value would be of interest as well, not that I would ever sell it. The serial number is 225XXX and beneath that the model is 7949. Thanks.

Gorgeous watch. Your grandfather would enjoy knowing that it will remain in the family.

An absolutely fanstastic looking watch. Do you know how/where/when your grandfather acquired it?
