Typical Speedy Pro Noob

I wake up today and realized that I forgot to wind my Speedy Pro.

This is something I need to turn into a habit, being so use to automatic.

Im sure I'm not the only one, but it did make me chuckle a bit.

yeah Matt, it has to be done.

when i travel with a manual wind... i always wind it in the morning... to avoid things like that (just in case i have a hangover on the "wrong" day..)

for the first time prob. ever, I'm not looking at other watches, or thinking about other watches. I know that the one on my wrist is exactally what I want. It's a good feeling.

I find the best time to wind it is when sitting on the "throne" first thing in the morning. I don't like to rush this ritual and so I take the watch off the wrist, look at it, say quietly "wow, what a watch" and press the chrono buttons just to see it function, wind it, stare at it some more, press the buttons again just to make sure it still works since the last time i did it, and generally just marvel at such a work of art, very therapeutic and gets the day off to a good start

I go through a morning ritual of winding all of my vintage pieces. I like manual watches. I feel more connected to them when I wind them. ah, the weirdness of WIS.

Funny you say that. I like to get up as late as I can to go to work so I often save time by winding my watch, buttoning my shirt, etc. while on the throne
