what is the difference? rolex
Rolex explorer and air king--they are the same? --are they design for a specific purpose?

They are two completely different models. The Explorer is 36mm (classic) or 39mm (new style) and only comes in a black dial with smooth bezel.
The Air King is 34mm and comes in a variety of dial colors, as well as a couple bezel configurations.

Completely different history as well.
my suggestion is try them both on first. I have seen many order the AK and find that a 34mm is just too small. I had one for a while... and yeah, it was too small, but could be right for you. Wont know until you try them on. Good luck.
