Speedmaster ID

Hi guys,

After showing a family friend my recently purchased a Speedmaster Pro 3570, he mentioned that he also had an Omega Speedmaster that he had purchased new (here in New Zealand) many years ago.

Pictures of the watch are below, i'm trying to find out some more info on it and it's possible value.

I've searched the internet and came to the conclusion that it looks exactly like a Speedmaster MarkII. The only difference is that this model has an applied Omega logo and DOESN'T have MARKII printed on the dial under Professional, like all the others i've seen.

Is it possible that this is a very early version before they started printing MARK II on the dial?

Any info would be great thanks...

Cheers
Jeremy
