Fukuoka: Vintages, Friend and Beer :)

Was in Fukuoka during the weekend and had a great time meeting up with a wonderful fellow member.

The shops over here have really cool stuff if you're a vintage afficiando. Ton's of vintage advert plaques, posters, stands, boxes..you name it most stores have it. The Japanese really raise the level in vintage collecting*

Love window shopping in the country.

Sorry about the quality of the photo. Taken with my IPhone and my digital pinhole cam.

Some sights of the city. Spring is coming and the tulips and cherry blossoms are in full bloom

This is a very cool store.

Too bad I was so at awe with the amount of vintages in the store to remember to take photos.

If you're ever around the area, the store is just at the corner between Mitsukoshi and Daimaru departmental store.

Eventhough it's a very small store, but you can just spend hours there admiring the details of all the vintages inside :)

Finally, met a wonderful new friend and enjoyed couple of drinks* and some barbequed pork jerky brought all the way to Japan.

Our mandatory wrist shot :)

Thanks Gaijin for showing me around this wonderful city. Had a blast

Blimey, that is close - was in a cracking little Italian next to Little India MRT on Saturday - but we digress

Nice pics once again

No no, we go to The Toucan on Duxton Hill - the home of the Spurs Supporters Club

Although with the kickoff tonight at 3.45 I'll be going all the way to my sofa!
