Rolex in Aruba

Am currently in Aruba on vacation and brought down my YM with me. I was looking at the Rolex AD here, several locations of Gandelman's. 10% on SS and 15% for TT. Was considering a Subc LV or the 116233 with diamonds but no LV to be found and the price for the Datejust is not as good as I can get herre on TRF. Selection was good. WG sub, TT subs, Milgauss, Subc but not the LV, 14060, all lines of YM, all lines of GMT's, both explorers, plenty of Datejust and Datejust II's, Presidentials all over. Best store thus far at the Marriott.

This place is great but boy it has been windy. The wife and I are really getting the break from life that we needed. She brought her TT YM with her. Water temp is awesome and the outdoor temp is incredible.

Back to more sun and drinks! Cheers to my TRF friends from Aruba.

The wife and I love aruba, we've been averaging once a year, and even went twice one year!

I worked for Gandelman back in 1992-1996 and knowing the owner, Robert, if you ask a store manager to call him with a very reasonable offer he might accept. He is a very smart business man. The key is to be sweet to the store manager. Arubians respond to sweetness, not bitterness. They don't care for bravado acts.

Josh,
Thanks. They are very nice here. No bravado needed. I did not scoff at their price. I knew I could get better back in the states. I was told that if I were to mail the box that it may never arrive to me or my neighbor. I would consider asking for him if I felt I could get it for a better price. It is currently 600 more than I can get if for back in the states and I don't have to worry about customs.

Will post a pic of my YM and my wife's YM after tomorrow. We are going diving.
Cheers
