Blancpain Fifty Fathoms

Anyone have any thoughts on the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms in Rose Gold?

I have a chanceto buy a brand new one at $13500 but have been informed by a few dealers that the market on this watch is very soft with low resale value, which worries me ifi decide to sell it down the road. Thereatils is $270000 which tells you something but the deal appears to be too good to pass up.

This is a huge investment and I don't want to lose my pants as all my other watches are Roles and Panerai which holds their value pretty well

I personally think the FF looks better in SS. I looked at both before I bought mine, and it was not just a money thing, I like the FF better in SS.

My 2 Cents.

I like it better in rose gold, it's a huge watch though.... Probably why I haven't bought one yet. Would be perfect in 40-42mm.

That's an aamazing deal, get it!

Imho, SS would be a better choice all round (price, looks, resale...)

Great deal on new but I think I've seen it as low as $9k on the secondary market (depending on which FF you're looking at). As long as you don't plan on selling it off anytime soon, I vote get it.

An amazing price on a brand new Rose Gold Fifty Fathoms............$13,500 is the suggested retail on a new S/S Fifty Fathoms

Beautiful watch but you say resale is a big concern. Buy used and save more.

I have a SS FF I am going to be selling. I just dont wear it even though I think it's a beautiful amazing watch.

I prefer that watch in RG. Looks like it already took the hit on price...but RG will be tough sale down the road as the SS seems to appeal to more buyers.
