Bought a 16610..........
........... After contemplating for about 2 months between the 116610 and the 16610. I am very happy with my decision.
Question I have for you is how hard will it be for me to replace my aluminum bezel in 10-15-20 years now that Rolex has gone with the Cerachrom bezel on the new model? Are they going to become scarce as time goes on and impossible to find? Will Rolex continue to make the replacement parts to the older model watches? |

IMO old replacement bezels will be available from Rolex for a long time given the numbers that Rolex have sold.

Congrats on a great choice. You now own one of the most classic wristwatches in history and are part of a great tradition.
Many people reading this will wonder why you would want to replace a faded original insert to begin with. To most any WIS here, an insert that has faded on your own wrist is a badge of honor and highly desirable! |

Unless you have a serious mishap the aluminum inserts last very long. They really are not that easy to scratch or fade. They will be available for an extremely long time.
