White w/Romans. My very first Datejust had a champ. dial which I didn't like. I was getting such a good price on the watch, I figured I'd warm up to it. (After all a Rolex Dj is still a beautiful watch) I ended up trading up to a different piece and was much happier. In short:if you don't love it now, you probably never will. Just my view, YMMV. Go with the white. It's got great contrast. The champagne dial is too monochromatic...for me at least...
