DD w/ or w/o Diamond bezel

I have the DD with diamond bezel, should I leave it this way or put the flute back on it, i kind of like it both ways.

Hello, it all depends on the personal opinion of the person wearing the watch. But to me, that is way too much bling. I would much prefer the fluted bezel without any diamonds at all.

Put the fluted bezel back on .....UNLESS you are:

1) Mafia captain or higher
2) Pawn shop owner
3) Lotto winner previously on welfare
4) Run/own your own evangelical TV church
5) Labor union boss
6) Government employee
7) Rap musician
8) Charlie Sheen
9) Democratic congressman representing blighted urban districts

Due to the diamonds on the dial I say keep it classy with the fluted bezel.

With the dark diamond dial you have a great contrast with the gold. IMHO the diamond bezel just takes away from the whole character of the watch and "washes it out" with diamonds. Besides, given you are mafiaoso, your pinky ring should give you all the extra diamond "flash" you need.

Hmmm, I thought the whole idea of a diamond bezel was to ADD character?

I have a DD with the fluted bezel and it is probably the most classic look, however I like the look of your diamond bezel. The diamonds are not too big and they look right with that watch.

Bottom line is it is a personal choice.

Keep it as is. Looks great. If you didn't already have the diamond dial, then I'd go with the fluted bezel. But the diamond bezel definitely compliments/completes the overall look coupled with that dial. Can't go wrong either way, however. It's all about what jingles your berries.

So-called “watch enthusiasts” generally shun diamond bezels… but many super rich who see luxury watches as jewelry enjoy the look of gem-set dials, bezels, cases, and bracelets.

I am sure that OP already made his choice in the 10 years that has passed since the question was initially asked - How on earth does a post like this surface
