Vacation! - What do I bring?

Going on a FL vacation with the family. Both pool and beach time with the kids will be involved.

Here are my choices:

1. Sub 14060
2. GMT 16750
3. Explorer II 16570
4. DateJust 16233

My Sub is usually the "go to". However, I'm leaning towards the Explorer II or DJ becasue of the fixed bezel and the beach.

Interested to hear others thoughts.

Thanks!

Water time, pool and beach seems to call for a sub, however date might be nice to have as well as diff time zone, Gmt is the best choice IMHO

Another plus, if it's a pepsi it fits even better on the beach (even if it's not a Hawaii
beach)

Difficult question these 3 pieces fits the bill DJ-EX2 and Sub.
I would pick the EX2.

You guys are no help. All over the map!

However, I think Exp II seems to be the favored so far!

Eduardo,

I'm not sure English is the most popular language in southern FL anymore.

SUB!
Hands down. You don't need the date to constantly remind you of the date of return to normal is getting closer.

Explorer II without a doubt. Your type of trip is exactly why I want an Explorer II. Reasons in order:

1 - fixed bezel - best for the beach
2 - date - surprisingly important on a trip
3 - GMT hand - perfect for travel

Go with the sub...why not???

Taking them all becomes a security issue and how can you possibly decide? Your wife will be dressed and ready before you are...

Do like 007. Get that sub on, go to the beach and hook up with girls like this.

I agree completely. I've been taking my Explorer II on beach vacations for 11 years. It's also perfectly happy getting dressed up for dinner or wearing shorts and flip flops.

If you are going diving, I would go with the Sub, for obvious reason, but if not, the Explorer II would be my recommendation.

Except the buttons are not supposed to be used sub-surface, so a Sub would actually do a better job.

Or, buy a PP:
