New Explorer 214270

I don't see many members with the new explorer. Looks like a real beauty from the website. anyone have any pics? Wrist or otherwise?

such a nice looking watch, but I wonder if at $6200 it is just priced a bit too high. I don't know, since the price change maybe they just all seem incorrectly priced?

First post on forum, just registered a moment ago, so I apologize in advance for not having signatures, etc. set up. Haven't figured that out yet.

I got my first Rolex, the Explorer 1 214270 in late April from an AD in MN. I really can't believe this thing is running dead on after a month. +1 in 30 days. Not kidding. Set it once to time standard and have wound once a week since. Unbelievable.

I have looked at the forum enough to know that people like to know serial numbers--this one a VS.

OK, first post accomplished--hope it passes muster. Thanks.

Forgot to mention, I luckily got in prior to US price increase. By two weeks. $5725 list, got for less. Now priced at $6200 list. Peronally, I like the clean lines, simplicity, elegance of this watch. I am sure I am in minority, but would rather have this at $5400 than a new SUB at $7500 or more. One man's opinion.

Congrats, evanvito. Did you seriously consider other Rolex models, or was it EXP 1 versus other brands?

Yeah I like the look! I don't put it on there much, but do now and again when I feel like a change!
