Replacement Links
Can extra or replacement links for bracelets be ordered through an AD or maybe even directly from Rolex?

You will have to bring the watch with you to the AD. The AD will not sell you a link without seeing it. They will also install and fit it for you.

On e-Bay, there's a seller from Hong Kong that sells what he says are newly manufactured 18kt. replacement link sets for oyster bracelets. He has 100% positive feedback, but I have some reservations about having non-Rolex parts on my watch. I wonder how Rolex can tell the difference between the links they manufacture and those made elsewhere since they are supposed to be the same size, weight and have the same gold content.

As stated above, you're local AD should have extra links available! At a cost.....

you can try posting a wtb thread on the sales forum, and hopefully some nice guys can spare one of his many extra links he has instead of buying an aftermarket part. i was at the sf rsc a few weeks ago to get a pepsi bezel insert. the guys at the service center were telling me that rolex is getting tougher and tougher with their parts because the aftermarket parts are affecting their operation. my buddy was getting a pair of new end links for his 93150 bracelet. they used to let us keep the old end links, but now we cannot because rolex usa will not let the service centers get new parts without trading the old ones in.

I thought the same, but it works out to make sense;
$5000 for a Rolex you always wanted. After months of hunting patiently, the perfect watch is in your grasp. As you slip it on and close the clasp...... CRAP....forgot to ask about extra links. I walked into a family owned AD in Memphis and for $50 (including tax) had an extra link added. Best $50 i've spent on comfort in a long time. Also, since the Rolex price hike the value of my watch now went up, so the link was essentially free
