Saying Hello

Just stumbled onto this forum on Friday afternoon. I got to say, what a great bunch of people I've seen post so far.
Just bought my first Rolex last week - a new Z white Daytona. After years of owning Panerai's, Breitling's, Breguet's and Parmigiani, this has been a real treat to obtain. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on my Daytona just a few days ago. I always joked with my AD, if you ever get one in, I'll be here in 10 mins. Well - I was there in about 5 and now a very happy owner of my first Rolex and now, a new addiction.
I look forward to reading more and contributing.
thx

You're right...those white-face Daytona's are BEAUTIFUL. I'm not really into chronos, but if I had one that would be it. Do you leave the stopwatch running all the time?

Welcome and thanks for the photos. The Daytona is hard to find in authorised dealers, and it has a great chronograph movement. You will be very happy with that Rollie

Welcome to TRF you lucky man. I'm on two lists for a SS Daytona and I think I'll die of old age before I get to the top.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. Great looking Daytona Tellog! I also have a Daytona, but its Stainless Steel with a black face. Great choice! I'm actually selling mine, as I just moved from South Africa to New Zealand. My father gave it to me for my 21st.

Welcome to TRF, Scooby. Where in NZ are you located? I hope you're not in Auckland where you might get infected with JJitis.
