Where can I get a springbar?
Does any one have the spring bar that connects the end of the diver's extension to the clasp on a 16610 Sub?

Local mall. When I needed a spring bar for my Navitimer strap, I found a kiosk in the mall that sold replacement batteries and straps/bracelets had one that fit.

Clasp springbar for 16610
Thanks..you'd think so right? Tried that at several watch places in the mall and outside. None had the one specific to that type...it's significantly different from the stock ones they carry.

There is an RSC in San Fran that's independently owned....
Try there or a local AD with an in house watchmaker!!

MGsimmer,
Where are you located in San Francisco bay area? I can recommend a Rolex parts account watchmaker that can get you the correct part...Don't put an aftermarket spring bar on that watch, it's not worth it! |

I would expect that the SFO Rolex RSC over on Post road would have the proper spring-bar in stock.

The AD quoted a price that I would consider unfair for a springbar. I am hoping that the Rolex account holding watchmaker may be a better alternative as I would prefer a Rolex part in it!

Wound up getting it from a watchmaker at a different AD for a fair price from a referral provided by someone responding to this post. Thanks for all of your suggestions and replies!
