Which hand do you wear your watch (and why)
Hi,
I have always worn my rolex on my left hand but have seen some people wear thier watches on thier right for me i think since i am right handed, i do more things with my right- write, use phone,... so it makes sense to have my watch on my left as its free what about you? |

I wear it on my left wrist cause I'm right handed and the watch gets in the way when I write.

I wear it on my right wrist because I am left handed.
I think that the "rule", certainly the custom, is to wear your watch on your non-primary wrist. I have, just recently, seen left handed watches that have the crown on the opposite side of the case (so it is pointing to your fingers when worn on your right wrist). I don't really see the point of this design other than the novelty of it. |

I wear my YM on my left wrist even though I'm left handed. I think it looks strange on the right with the crown on the wrong side.

I'll endorse that, wallet should never be put in the back trouser pocket. Too easy to pinch or slip out.

Left hand. When I was going through Navy boot camp our RDC made us wear our watches on our left wrist. I don't know if that's Navy reg. Or just his rule. But it stuck so I wear on the left

For many many years I wore my watch on my right hand and I am right handed. When I got my first nice watch (Rolex Daytona) I made an effort to switch to left. Never looked back. I use a computer a lot and also hand tools. My old beater watches really get pounded on the clasp especially. As others have stated, normally wear it on the opposite hand than you use. For lefties this can be awkward because of the way the crown sits but I think it would be better to have the crown outside anyways.

Left hand, and I'm left handed. I'd rather wear it on the right, but it gets in the way with the computer mouse.
Cheers, B.

Right wrist because I'm left handed. No issues with the crown digging into the back of my hand this way, too!

Give me a dollar for every time this same question has been asked here on TRF, and I could buy myself a new Rolex.
